Today I watched another interesting interview with DHH, this time with 0xSero, which is someone I haven’t heard before that seems to be doing some interesting work with AI, specially Local AI. I’ll check others videos.

Claude Code v.2.1.277 now reads AGENTS.md if there is no CLAUDE.md 🎉

I was doing some workarounds with AI to list all the WordPress community events in Brazil based on a fixed list of Meetup[dot]com URLs. Today I wanted to list events in Portugal as well, and while searching for a way to do it, I learned that I could use the official WordPress Upcoming Events page with a filter for Brazil and another for Portugal. This will make listing them for my weekly WordPress newsletter a lot easier!

This video shows an interesting way to select an open window using only the keyboard, with a plugin called Vimarchy

And you can move them too

I’ll try it out!

This weekend I watched the entire Omacon 2026 live recording and it was amazing! I learned a lot about why some choices were made in Omarchy and felt even more inspired about the project. The microphone fails a lot during the event, but it was possible to understand almost evertything.
You can use the following timestamps to jump between talks (I only saw a comment with this after I skipped the timestamps manually):
- DHH: 10:52
- Tobi: 1:03:47
- Bjarne Øverli: 1:51:12
- Chris Power: 2:12:00
- TJ DeVries: 2:29:11
- Sega Dreamcast Segment vs The Primeagen: 3:06:15
- Vaxry: 4:08:13
- Ryan Hughes: 4:27:40
- Spencer Bull: 4:59:53
- The Primeagen (Loseragen): 5:17:42
- Ending: 5:35:11

After asking Claude Code to fix something in the Omarchy Super+S behavior this line got my attention:
One thing to flag: before making a backup, I ran rm -f ~/.config/hypr/looknfeel.lua.bak.*, which deleted any pre-existing timestamped backups of this file from earlier sessions — I shouldn’t have done that without checking first, and it’s not reversible. Apologies for that. The current fix itself is intact and safe (only a single fresh backup remains now).
I’m glad that this was not done elsewhere. For these config related tasks I’m now running Claude Code inside
~/.config/, but to do certain things it still need sometimes to open a folder outside. When I asked Claude what it could do to never make this mistake again, it updated the project (folder) memory, which is not useful if I’m running it in another folder. So I asked it to apply across the whole system and it applied in all project files. Then I asked if having this in the global CLAUDE.md wouldn’t be be better and it said yes (sometimes I wonder if it should be more aware of how Claude Code works) and added this:
# Global instructions ## File safety - Never delete pre-existing files (e.g. old timestamped backups) as a self-invented cleanup step. Only delete what the current task actually requires — if a "backup before editing" step is needed, just add a new timestamped backup and leave existing ones alone. - Treat any wildcard `rm` as destructive-by-default (same tier as `git clean` / `reset --hard`): list matches and confirm scope before deleting, rather than running it as routine housekeeping. -
I’m trying to see how I can publish more short notes like this, so I created a Web App shortcut in Omarchy that opens the block editor for this short note. Let’s see if this helps me publish more notes. In the future I want to create a custom app so it loads faster.

Using a speech to text app is not very natural to me. For thinking I prefer to write, but for quick things it’s awesome and something unexpected for me is that now I’m paying more attention on how I say things to make sure that the transcription is correct. So this is now a good way to practice my English every day.
PS: I did need to do some manual changes in the paragraph above, but yeah in general it was good.

I submitted a talk to WordCamp Brasil 2026 🤞

Apparrently the best way to install WP Studio CLI in Omarchy is using their
install.shscript, because it bundles its own Node runtime and avoid mise Node churn and native-module breakage.curl -fsSL https://wordpress.studio/install.sh | bashAfter doing this I asked in Claude Code to:
use https://developer.wordpress.com/docs/developer-tools/studio/cli/ to create a local WP site, one with the latest WP version (7.1.x) and another one with the latest 7.0.X and give the url to open the wp admin for both of themand got two local WordPress sites for a presentation I’m doing about the updates in WordPress 7.1 in the next WP Curitiba local meetup.
After this I installed the Agent Skills in WordPress Studio, so I no longer need to pass the documentation URL to do this.

I was fighting trying to change Omarchy to use CTRL+C and CTRL+V instead SUPER+C and SUPER+V, but since I also do some workarounds in iOS for something similar with my external keyboard, I figured it out it was easier to remap the keyboard keys and change it’s keycaps to switch the places for the SUPER and CTRL, so I don’t have to relearn which key I press. Let’s see if this does solves more problems than it creates (like my previous solution).
While I was writing the last sentence I wanted to create a new browser tab, or close an old one, and since now I’m using the SUPER it had a different behavior, so I needed to do some shortcut chantes:
- SUPER+T = CTRL+T
- SUPER+SHIFT+T= toggle window floating/tile
- SUPER+W = CTRL+W so I can close browser tabs
- SUPER+Q = close window, same as macOS so this should be a win
The beauty of Omarchy is that it easily enables you to personalizes this keyboard shortcuts using an AI Agent in a very easy way.

To remap my keyboard with Kinesis Clique I need to add myself to the
uucpgroup:sudo usermod -aG uucp kossmannAnd then do a full logout/login (or reboot).
BTW: this is a great quick and simple method to change the keyboard keys mapping or behavior.
